The epic Norwegian action-adventure film ‘Troll’ is all set to land globally on Netflix on 1st December, 2022. The film, releasing exclusively on Netflix, is directed by internationally acclaimed filmmaker Roar Uthaug (‘Tomb Raider’, ‘The Wave’).
The official logline for ‘Troll’ reads, “Deep inside the mountain of Dovre, something gigantic awakens after being trapped for a thousand years. Destroying everything in its path, the creature is fast approaching the capital of Norway. But how do you stop something you thought only existed in Norwegian folklore?”
Starring Ine Marie Wilmann in the lead role ‘Troll’ also stars Kim Falck, Mads Sjøgård Pettersen and Gard Eidsvold among others. With a script from Espen Aukan, the film is produced by Espen Horn and Kristian Strand Sinkerud at Motion Blur.
Founded in 2002, the latest productions from Motion Blur include ‘Post Mortem: No one dies in Skarnes’ (2021), ‘Cadaver’ (2020), ‘Amundsen‘ (2019), ‘The 12th Man’ (2018) and the TV series ‘Oil Fund’ (2018).
Roar Uthaug’s ‘Troll’ will premiere exclusively on Netflix worldwide on 1st December, 2022.
