Robert Zemeckis’ ‘Here’ Gets A Release Date, Stars Tom Hanks

‘Here’, Miramax’s upcoming film helmed by veteran Robert Zemeckis has received a release date. The movie reunites Zemeckis with his ‘Forrest Gump’ teammates, Tom Hanks and Robin Wright. It will get a three-step release from TriStar Pictures.

The movie will have its world premiere on November 15, 2024, in Los Angeles, followed by a limited theatrical release on November 22 and a worldwide release on November 27.

‘Here’ reunites Wright and Hanks, as well as Zemeckis and Eric Roth for the first time in 30 years, after Forrest Gump. Roth bagged the Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay for his work in Forrest Gump at the 67th Academy Awards. Hanks and Zemeckis also received Oscars for Best Actor and Best Director, respectively. The 1994 classic dramedy was a gigantic box office, earning over $678 million during its theatrical run.

Zemeckis’ forthcoming project takes inspiration from Richard McGuire’s ‘Here’ graphic novel, which was published by Pantheon Books in 2014. Roth and Zemeckis will work on the film’s screenplay. Apart from Tom Hanks and Robin, the film stars Paul Bettany, Kelly Reilly, and Michelle Dockery, Gwilym Lee, Jonathan Aris, Lilly Aspell, and more. It will arrive in theatres worldwide on November 27. Stay tuned for more updates.
