RRR is the most anticipated film in Indian cinema at the moment. The Rajamouli directorial is slated for worldwide theatrical release on the 7th of January and promotions are in full flow now. As a part of the film’s promotional campaign, Rajamouli, Ram Charan, and Jr NTR recently interacted with national media portals. In of these interviews, Rajamouli dropped a big update on RRR that is sure to leave Ram Charan’s fans greatly excited.
“Ram Charan’s introduction scene is an event in itself. This episode was shot with as many as 2000 individuals. It was absolute madness and fantastic all at the same time. This scene isn’t there just for the cinematic high purpose. It will primarily give an idea of the kind of character Alluri Seetharama Raju is in this film. It will set the tempo for the character arc that will unfold later in the film,” Rajamouli said.
Well, Rajamouli has dropped some goosebump-inducing stuff for Ram Charan’s fans by spilling the beans on his character introduction scene. Notably, we got a brief glimpse of this scene in the trailer of RRR. Charan is seen in a police avatar in this episode.
On a related note, Ram Charan went on to heap praise on his co-star Jr NTR. “Jr NTR is a fantastic dancer. I was very much excited when Rajamouli first told me he conceived a dance number on me and Tarak. It was a pleasurable experience not just to act with him but also to share the dance floor with him.” Charan said. Jr NTR exhibited mutual respect, saying “This coming from Charan is so huge. He is a fantastic dancer as well.” If this conversation is to go by, the much anticipated Naatu Naatu song in RRR is going to be on a whole new level altogether.
