RRR, Radhe Shyam, KGF 2 To Blast Away Bollywood In 50 Days?

The time has come for South Indian films to take the box office by storm. Through the course of 50 days, starting from later this February, as many as five South Indian biggies are hitting the silver screens. The list includes RRR (March 25), Radhe Shyam (March 11), KGF 2 (April 14), Valimai (February 24), and Beast (likely on April 14). While RRR, Radhe Shyam, and KGF 2 are proper pan-India box office monsters, Valimai is also trying his hand at the pan-India market. There is no affirmative update on Beast’s pan-India outing possibility. But what is for certain is that the Thalapathy Vijay starrer is exceedingly strong in the South Indian market.

As per trade analysts, RRR, Radhe Shyam, KGF 2, Valimai, and Beast are well-placed to cumulatively gross over Rs 2500 crores at the global box office at the very least. These biggies are promising a proper box office bonanza that will be set in motion through the course of 50 days, starting from 24 February. These films are certainly on course to blast away Bollywood.

Gangubhai Kathiawadi (February 25), Bachchan Pandey (March 18), and Laal Singh Chaddha (April 14) are the Bollywood films that are pitted against the said South Indian biggies. Gangubhai and Laal Singh Chaddha are proper Bollywood biggies as well, but it needs to be said that the South Indian biggies – RRR, Radhe Shyam, and KGF 2 are in much more likely to create a sensation at the box office.

The point to be noted is that none of the aforementioned Bollywood films have a stronghold in the South Indian market. But on the other hand, RRR, Radhe Shyam, and KGF 2 appear to be super strong in the Hindi market, along with the customary South Indian market.
