Avengers Endgame, the movie that beat Avatar to become the highest grossing Hollywood movie of all time, completed one year of release on 26th April. The Russo Brothers, Joe and Anthony Russo, writer-directors of the movie, have planned a special event to celebrate the occasion, and in a way give a nod to the spectacular success of the movie. They plan to hold a watch party, or call it re-watch party, for the movie, and have invited fans to join them for the memorable occasion.
The Avengers Endgame watch party will happen on the 28th of April on the official Instagram and Twitter accounts of The Russo Brothers. The brothers will be live on Instagram for the first one hour, and will share interesting behind-the-scenes snippets and their thoughts behind various sequences with viewers. Their Twitter handle will have them live-tweeting for the entire three-hour runtime of Endgame.
Here’s what they shared on Twitter while making the announcement –
We’re in the #Endgame now…Join us TOMORROW at 4:00pmPT and let’s watch #Endgame together using #AvengersAssemble. We’ll also be going live on our IG for the first hour.”
On Instagram, they wrote –
“In honour of the 1-year anniversary of Avengers: Endgame, re-watch the film along with us TOMORROW (4/27) starting at 4pmPT/7pmET. We will be LIVE tweeting throughout the entirety of the film and we will be LIVE on IG for the first hour. We may even have a special guest popping by on IG… Join us by using #AvengersAssemble. Who’s in?”
That means, there is, in all likelihood, a chance that some of the Avengers may join in on the watch party and share their special memories and thoughts on the movie with fans.
So all you Avengers fans out there, do join in on the fun!
