‘RX100’ filmmaker Ajay Bhupathi has announced his next pan Soutth-Indian project ‘Mangalavaaram’. Apart from helming the film, Bhupathi will also turn producer with ‘Mangalavaaram’ that will release in cinemas soon in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
The title and concept poster was for ‘Mangalavaaram’ has been launched today on social media and features a woman with butterfly wings. The dark orange themed poster with hints of blue neon makes the poster quite interesting.
‘Mangalavaaram’ will have music composed by ‘Kantara’ fame Ajaneesh Lokanath. Cast and storyline for the film will be revealed later. It is produced by Swathi Gunupati, Suresh Varma M and Ajay Bhupathi. Production companies behind ‘Mangalavaaram’ are Mudhra Media Works and A Creative Works.
Ajay Bhupathi made his directorial debut with hit Telugu film ‘RX100’ in 2018 and his second film was ‘Mahasamudram’. The success of ‘RX100’ was such that it was later remade in Hindi as ‘Tadap’ starring Tara Sutaria and Ahan Shetty. ‘Mangalavaaram’ is his third film and it will be interesting to see how this one turns out given that it has already been announced on a big pan South-Indian scale.
