Ryan Gosling & Margot Robbie To Reunite For Ocean’s Eleven Prequel

How about we go back to December 2001? Steven Soderbergh’s Ocean’s Eleven kicks off that year’s Christmas film season with a bang! Many heist comedies have come and gone since then. But none of them has ever won the hearts of moviegoers like Soderbergh’s Ocean movies did. And the ensemble cast led by the magnetic duo of George Clooney and Brad Pitt made our watching experience memorable. Now, it seems like we are going to get another Ocean project. According to a recent Puck report, Ryan Gosling will lead the upcoming Ocean’s Eleven prequel opposite Margot Robbie.

The report states, “If deals close, the co-stars of next summer’s Barbie, also at Warners, will reunite with filmmaker Jay Roach, with whom De Luca worked with way back on Austin Powers at New Line.”

Also, the report poked fun at Netflix’s The Gray Man, stating that the prequel would have a high budget but not as much as the Russo Brothers’ action thriller.

The duo of Gosling and Robbie is already a part of Greta Gerwig’s Barbie. The latter will be seen playing the titular character. On the other hand, Gosling will appear as Ken.

The Ocean film franchise also consists of Gary Ross’ Ocean’s 8, starring Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson, Helena Bonham Carter, and many more. This one served as a spin-off and continuation of the events of Ocean’s Eleven.

However, the makers are yet to announce the release date of Ocean’s Eleven prequel. Stay tuned to Binged for more updates on Ryan Gosling and Margot Robbie starrer.
