Ryan Gosling To Play Marvel Villain In Upcoming Thunderbolts Movie?

There are rumours that Ryan Gosling will be playing a MCU villain in an ambitious upcoming project. Ever since he partnered with Chris Evans, who is one of the biggest faces of the MCU, with his last movie ‘The Gray Man’ there have been talks among the fans about him having a role in some Marvel movie. ‘The Gray Man’ was directed by the Russo brothers, who have directed the two biggest Avengers films, ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ and ‘Avengers: Endgame’.

Ryan Gosling had previously stated that he would absolutely love to do a role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Fans want all their favorite stars to be in a franchise together and from the huge hit ‘La La Land’, the actor has even more increased fanbase and rumors about joining Marvel too.

The movie in the center of the rumours is ‘Thunderbolts’ that is to release in 2024. And the character that the actor is eyed for is a strong and conflicted villain who looks around 30 to 50 years of age who will be very similar to an ‘Evil Superman’. Most probably, it will be the character of ‘Sentry’. There are two actors that the makers reportedly feel perfectly suitable are Ryan Gosling and Alexandar Skarsgård.

Sentry or Robert Reynolds was injected with a serum in hight school that was intended to be far more powerful and intense than the serum that turned Steve Rogers into Captain America. He will be the main antagonist against Thunderbolt.
