Though it has been available on rent on various platforms, ‘The Fall Guy’ is finally set to stream on Jio Cinema on 3rd September, 2024. This year’s much awaited David Leitch film, ‘The Fall Guy’ has had its fair share of ups and downs.
The film received mostly positive reviews but when it came to converting it into numbers it could not perform commercially at the box office. ‘The Fall Guy’ is loosely based on the eponymous TV series of the 1980s and has been in talks for adaptation for quite some time before being picked up by Gosling, Leitch and writer Drew Pearce back in 2020.
In ‘The Fall Guy’, after leaving the business one year earlier, battle-scarred stuntman Colt Seavers (Gosling) springs back into action when the star of a big studio movie suddenly disappears. As the mystery surrounding the missing actor deepens, Colt soon finds himself ensnared in a sinister plot that pushes him to the edge of a fall more dangerous than any stunt.
