Sacred Games’ Kukoo Kubbra Sait to Represent the Show at International Emmys

We all know that the Netflix show Sacred Games has been nominated for the Emmy for Best Drama category at the International Emmys. Well, as per the latest news coming in, Kubbra Sait, the actress who played the character of Ganesh Gaitonde’s transgender lover Kukoo in the show, will be representing the Sacred Games team at the International Emmys.

There are several noticeable entrants from the nascent Indian digital content space in the nominees list for the International Emmys, Sacred Games being one of them.

Netflix’s Lust Stories has been nominated under two categories, Best TV movie/mini-series and Best Performance by an Actress for Radhika Apte. Amazon Prime’s The Remix is nominated under non-scripted television series.

The International Emmy Awards are slated to be held on November 25 in New York City. Let’s hope that an Indian show is able to make the final cut and win an Emmy for the country.
