On the occasion of his birthday today makers of highly anticipated upcoming film ‘Devara: Part 1’ have unveiled Saif Ali Khan’s first look as Bhaira from the film and he looks deadly and menacing in it.
Khan plays the role of the antagonist in ‘Devara’ and in the first look video launched today he seems to be donning the role damn well. He makes a grand entry wherein he effortlessly breaks his opponent’s bones in a fight off during a procession, leaving people around stunned.
He is later seen running around in the jungle and his looks make him a perfect villain. The noteworthy thing is that Saif’s appearance are different for the former and latter part of the video, creating a sense of intrigue for the viewers.
The whole intro video focuses more on setting the cinematic theme for the film than revealing Saif Ali Khan’s character’s first look. Overall, the enthralling music suits the vibe of the video quite well.
First part of the two part film and touted to be an out and out action entertainer with strong emotions, ‘Devara’ is written and directed by Kortala Siva who is known for his action drama films like ‘Janatha Garage’, ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’, ‘Acharya’ and more.
‘Devara’ marks second collaboration of director Kortala Siva and Jr. NTR together after ‘Janatha Garage’. In addition to Jr. NTR, the film stars Saif Ali Khan as the antagonist and Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead.
An Anirudh Ravichander musical, ‘Devara’ has cinematography by R. Rathnavelu with editing from A. Sreekar Prasad. The film is produced by Kosaraju Harikrishna, Sudhakar Mikkilineni and Nandamuri Kalyan Ram. The production companies bankrolling ‘Devara’ are MSK Films, NTR Arts and Yuvasudha Arts. The film will release in theatres in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam on 27th September, 2024. The digital distribution rights of the film were acquired by Netflix.
