Rinku Rajguru, the young actress from ‘Sairat’ is all set to make her debut in the Telugu film industry now. She made her debut in the Marathi films with ‘Sairat’ at the age of 16 and the movie became a historic success. Sairat, directed by Nagraj Manjule, went on to earn more than 100 crores at the box office and had a Hindi remake too afterwards. The movie was also remade in Kannada with the name ‘Manasu Mallige’ and Rinku reprised her role in the remake.
Reportedly, Rinku will be playing the leading lady for an upcoming film of filmmaker Yakub Ali. Yakub Ali is known for making films like ‘Vellipomake’.
Rinku has acted in various Hindi, Marathi and Kannada projects after Sairat but none of the projects matched the success of her debut feature. Her role in ‘Hundred’ was appreciated by critics and audiences but was not as iconic as Sairat. Hopefully, her Telugu film will be a massive success and she will taste the success she once had with her very first film.
As per media reports, the male lead opposite Rinku will be played by Rakesh Varre and the movie will be produced under the banner of Crazy Ants Productions. Other details have not been revealed now.
Hopefully, soon there will be the release of some poster or teaser for the movie and all speculations will be put to an end.
