It’s been quite some time since Salaar has been streaming on Netflix. The biggie starring Prabhas started streaming on Netflix on January 20 after a much talked about theatrical release.
Quite obviously it did not create half of KGF’s buzz but it became evident just after the disappointing trailer.
Regardless, what’s up with the performance on OTT?
Before we speak, let the data speak for itself.
According to OFFICIAL Netflix charts, the movie was the third most-watched non-English movie on the platform last week.
Sounds good, no?
Well, you must hold on before you decide that.
It has absolutely great views. The movie was released on Netflix on January 20th and the chart mentions views only up to 21st January.
So now you know…at best it records views of 2 days only. All you have to do is to imagine the views that the film will be getting in the next week’s report. When the full week report arrives then it is bound to be stormy at the platform.
Salaar is indeed a big deal and the initial response looks great. But, there are more testing times and we definitely need more data to give our final verdict on the performance of Salaar on Netflix.
