MX Player has dropped the trailer of its upcoming web series ‘Salesman of the Year’ and it’s a different kind of south meets north drama. ‘Salesman of the Year’ will premiere on MX Player on 21st December, 2022.
‘Salesman of the Year’ trailer follows Kartik, a young man who moves from Hyderabad to Delhi for his sales job. He tries adjusting in the new place where the language, culture, food, lifestyle, all in all everything is different.
While Kartik is tackling with the language barrier on daily basis, his new office mates aren’t too welcoming either. He is made to sit at the desk that’s infamous, as whoever occupies doesn’t last a month in the office. But Kartik ignores it all and tries to focus on work so as to prove to his family that he wouldn’t fail. Amidst all this he makes friends and also falls in love.
Starring Hussan Dalal, Ahsaas Channa, Vikhyat Gulati, Naman Arora, ‘Salesman of the Year’ is the story of Karthik Reddy, a Hyderabadi salesman who has to shift jobs, homes and headspace as he’s transferred to Delhi. An assault on the senses awaits him as he learns to cope with hyper-competitive colleagues, a khadoos jargon spewing boss, an over-friendly roommate – DJ Bunty, with buddays, barsis and mundans as his specialty, besides a father who has no faith in him. Karthik has to do all he can to ensure that things don’t go south!
All episodes ‘Salesman of the Year’ will start streaming on MX Player from 21st December, 2022.
