As per a recent announcement by the official social media accounts of Zee Studios and Salman Khan Films, the highly anticipated big-ticket film ‘Radhe’ starring superstar Salman Khan will reportedly get a simultaneous release on multiple platforms worldwide on May 13, 2021.
The accompanying image indicated that viewers will be able to watch the film in theatres worldwide alongside its release on the online streaming platform ZeePlex, apparently on a pay-per-view arrangement.
The poster further tagged Zee5, Dishtv, D2h, Tata Sky, and Airtel digital platforms. The post further informed us that the trailer of ‘Radhe’ will reportedly launch tomorrow.
The film, which is slated to release on May 13, 2021, coincides with the festival of Eid. The film was supposed to be released earlier, however, its release was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent lockdown.
The film is being helmed by dance wizard turned director Prabhu Deva and will feature Pravessh Rana, Randeep Hooda, Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff besides obviously featuring Salman Khan in the lead role.
The premise of the film is reportedly inspired by the South Korean film ‘The Outlaws’. Although not much is known about the precise plot, the film ostensibly follows an aging gangster and what he does when his daughter gets kidnapped.
Prabhu Deva has previously directed Salman Khan in blockbuster films such as ‘Wanted’ (co-starring Ayesha Takia and Vinod Khanna) and ‘Dabangg 3’ (co-starring Sonakshi Sinha and Sudeep).
Salman Khan will also be seen in his upcoming film titled ‘Antim: The Final Truth’, based on the land mafia and which is being directed by Mahesh Manjrekar (Director ‘Vaastav, ‘Astitva’).
