Salman Khan Says He’s Not Involved In The Kapil Sharma ‘Tagore’ Feud!

A few days back, there was a huge uproar when the Bengali community criticised The Great Indian Kapil Sharma Show for making fun of a popular song by Rabindranath Tagore.

Bengali poet Srijato and the Bongo Bhashi Mahasabha Foundation even brought out a legal notice with warning that if the people involved do not apologise for the jokes, there will be legal actions taken soon. Srijato had confirmed that comedian Krushna Abhishek had apologised through a phone call.

A legal notice had been sent to the office of Salman Khan’s production house as well. And a representative from the office has said that the actor is now not involved with the Netflix Show by any means. And he was not even a guest at the event. He went on to say that there must have been a mistake on the part of the legal team, because it doesn’t make any sense to why Salman Khan is being dragged into this. Salman Khan is not producer of the show anymore, nor of the film ‘Do Patti’ which was being promoted there.

The joke was on the song ‘Ekla Cholo Re’ and Krushna Abhishek’s idea of comedy did not go very well with the Bengali community and what the outcome will be is not yet known.
