Salman Khan’s ‘Antim: The Final Truth’ Trailer: Old Wine In New Bottle

The trailer of upcoming action thriller, ‘Antim: The Final Truth’ starring Salman Khan, Aayush Sharma and Pragya Jaiswal in the lead, is finally out and catching everyone’s attention. Directed by Mahesh Manjrekar, the film is all set for a theatrical release on 26th November, incidentally clashing with the much-awaited John Abraham starrer, ‘Satyameva Jayate 2’, the trailer for which also dropped earlier today. Post the film’s recently released motion poster and Khan’s extended cameo, ‘Antim: The Final Truth’ has been quite buzzing and is getting the necessary attention a Salman Khan film usually commands.

Antim: The Final Truth‘ is produced by Salman Khan under his banner and is based on the 2018 Marathi film ‘Mulshi Pattern’, that chronicles the hardships faced by farmers and their links to the criminal world. The out and out action entertainer sees Sharma essaying the role of a gangster and Khan as a policeman. Although mostly old wine in new bottle, what helps is a side serving of some massy dialogues and a showcase of powerful action sequences. The trailer has definitely been made intelligently, using Khan’s star power to full potential.

‘Antim: The Final Truth’ was otherwise majorly touted to be an Aayush Sharma film, though after seeing the final cut, Salman felt his role needed extending, to counter the other big ticket releases that would definitely garner more attention. Well, post the extended cameo, the dynamics of the film has changed considerably and the film’s buzz is only increasing by the day. The trailer too, packs a punch to give stiff competition to the John Abraham starrer also releasing on the same day. It will indeed be interesting to see the results of this clash.
