We at Binged have reported extensively on the non-availability of Tamil and Telugu dubbed versions of Amazon Prime Video’s most popular show, The Family Man Season 2. Now, we are glad to tell you that The Family Man Season 2 in Tamil and Telugu is finally on the way—if we’ve correctly deduced, that is!
A few days ago, Samantha Akkineni, star of The Family Man 2, posted an interesting story on her Instagram. The accompanying image showed a dubbing setup, complete with mic, pop filter and the works. Samantha accompanied the image with text that stated thus –
“Dub in English, Tamil, Telugu,
And then talk jibberish (sic) for the rest of the day”
Samantha Akkineni’s Instagram Story leads us to believe that the actress has just finished dubbing for the English Tamil and Telugu dubbed versions of The Family Man 2. What else is she working on that requires her to dub in three other languages? Your guess is as good as ours. This effectively means that Amazon Prime Video has finally heeded the demands of its subscribers and The Family Man fans, and the Tamil and Telugu dubbed versions of The Family Man 2 will be out soon!
It has been more than two months since the release of The Family Man 2 on Amazon Prime Video. There’s still no sign of the Tamil and Telugu dubbed versions of the show even after all this time. And this, when the platform had promised that the show would stream in multiple languages such as Hindi English, Tamil and Telugu right from the time of the show’s premiere.
But as they say, better late than never!
