Earlier, Samantha filed a defamation case against three YouTube channels and an individual named CL Venkat Rao for making highly derogatory remarks on her. She lodged a case at the Kukatpally Court. Following multiple hearings, the Kukatpally Court passed the final verdict on Samantha’s defamation case.
The court ordered the named YouTube channels to take down the videos and other content that perturbed Samantha. As per the court’s injunction order, the YouTube media outlets should remove the derogatory content and also refrain from sharing such news items in the future.
The court had also ordered an individual named CL Venkat Rao not to make hurtful and insulting comments on Samantha from now on. For those who don’t already know, he was the one who accused Samantha of having affairs, seeking an abortion, and being reluctant to get pregnant. As mentioned, the court ordered him to refrain from making such accusations on Samantha henceforth.
Also, the court ordered Samantha not to share any intimate and personal details about her personal life on social media in the future.
On the work front, Samantha recently announced a couple of bilingual feature films which are set to hit the floors very soon. The star actress is expected to shoot for her immediate next film, a female-centric one that will be directed by Hari-Harish, a director duo from next month. She is also open to taking up more Bollywood assignments in the days to come and is even looking to take up more OTT projects.
