First glimpse of Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s upcoming Telugu language film ‘Yashoda’ is here and it’s as mesmerising as engrossing. Helmed by director duo Hari Shankar and Harish Narayan, ‘Yashoda’ will release worldwide in cinemas in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi and Malayalam on 12th August, 2022.
The first glimpse of ‘Yashoda’ shows Samantha waking up in an unknown modern and fully equipped one room apartment/hospital room of sort. Surprised and scared at the same time she walks up to the window where she reaches out for a white pigeon. As she is about to touch the bird the video spans out and after passing through a maze ends up forming the film’s logo.
Starring Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the titular role, ‘Yashoda’ is a new age science fiction thriller film written and directed by Hari Shankar and Harish Narayan. The film also stars Unni Mukundan, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Sampath Raj, Shatru, Madhurima, Kalpika Ganesh, Divya Sripada and Priyanka Sharma among others.
‘Yashoda’ is produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad under his banner Sridevi Movies. M. Sukumar handles the cinematography while the film is edited by Marthand K. Venkatesh. Mani Sharma has given the music for the film.
Apart from the original Telugu version, ‘Yashoda’ will also release in theatres in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam on 12th August, 2022.
