Lord Yoshii Toranaga will return with Season 2 of “Shogun”.
Based on James Clavell’s novel with the same name, the series delves into the serious battle between two royal warrior families who are fighting for the title “Shogun”.
Created by Justin Marks and Rachel Kondo, and produced by the lead actor Hiroyuki Sanada, the story steps into the historical backdrop of Japan.
It is universally known that asian people are protective about their rich history, for example we can see the chaos that was created in case of 3 Body Problem, but, Shogun masterfully handled the whole cultural and political background intact, while maintaining it’s ruthless attitude.
Now, after the vast appreciation this series received it became very crucial that the series must extend itself from its original script.
Other elements are still being worked out and the deal with FX is final.
Shogun was under the limited series category but with the confirmation of season 2 it has been ordered to move to the action/drama category .
What the story will be about or in which direction the story will proceed is still unclear.
