‘Yaaro’, a 2022 Tamil language horror thriller film written and directed by Sandeep Sai is finally set for its OTT debut on Aha Tamil, more than a year after its theatrical release.
‘Yaaro’ follows the story of John (Venkat Reddy), an architect-designer, who lives all alone at his posh villa in ECR and is plagued by various happenings around him. Trouble begins when a mysterious stranger enters his life. John spots him often in his house and feels that he is being followed by this man. He gets recurring dreams of some tragic incident and is disturbed by various characters that come knocking at his door.
The film stars Venkat Reddy and Upasana RC in lead roles with CM Bala, Durairaj and Kishore Dev among others in supporting roles. K. B. Prabu handles the cinematography for ‘Yaaro’ with editing by Anil Krish.
‘Yaaro’ was not very well received upon its theatrical release despite favourable reviews for the performances and plot line. It will be interesting to see how the film does on its digital debut.
‘Yaaro’ is produced by Venkat Reddy under the banner of TakeOk Productions and will premiere on Aha Tamil on 27th October, 2023.
