Sanjay Kapoor Glad About Lust Stories’ Emmy Nomination

Actor Sanjay Kapoor, who may not have had a fulfilling stint as a lead actor in Bollywood, is rediscovering himself as a character artiste in his second innings. His roles in Mission Mangal, Zoya Factor, Luck by Chance and web-series like Lust Stories have received good appreciation from crowds.

Talking to an online portal about the rise of the streaming platforms in India, the actor had very kind words to share about the content the web-world has been producing. And unsurprisingly, he was happy to notice that Lust Stories was good enough to be nominated for the Emmys.

“I am glad that Indian audiences are exposed to universal content and it has changed the perception of entertainment. With Lust Stories getting recognised by the Emmy Awards, the Indian film industry is no less than any international film industry. The webspace is brilliant; you can experiment in performances, writing, and many other aspects. The web is like a boon to creative people. Nowadays, you don’t have to depend on a superstar for your story. So you take genuine actors, who are going to do a good job and they will give their time for it,” he added.
