After the unequivocal success of Gangubai Kathiawadi a couple of years ago, Sanjay Leela Bhansali has finally announced the next movie he’s set to produce and direct. The movie is titled ‘Love And War’, and it is touted to be an epic love story. Bhansali’s ‘Love And War’ has set a tentative release date for Christmas 2025 as of now.
The most exciting prospect of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love And War’ is its attractive cast. The three main leads have been locked and they are none other than Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal and Alia Bhatt. The movie is reportedly a modern love story, said to be inspired by Raj Kapoor’s iconic hit, Sangam.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali couldn’t have chosen a better lead cast for his magnum opus. All three actors have registered hits in recent times – Brahmastra and Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani for Alia Bhatt; Brahmastra and Animal for Ranbir Kapoor; and Zara Hatke Zara Bachke and Sam Bahadur for Vicky Kaushal. The three are the most exciting and talented of the current crop of actors in Bollywood. The movie will go on the floors in November 2024, after Sanjay Leela Bhansali finishes work on his OTT debut, the Netflix show Heeramandi.
