Sara Ali is on a roll now. The actress who is just four films old right now in Bollywood is all set for first ever action film. Sara Ali Khan is the next big name to join the highly anticipated “The Immortal Ashwatthama”. She will be joining the brilliant Vicky Kaushal, who is set to lead the film. Peepingmoon.com has also reported that Sara’s will not be just starring in the film but is all set for her own set of some hardcore actions.
The Immortal Ashwatthama is one of Vicky Kaushal’s most awaited films, thus far and going by the basic description on what this movie is based on, we are sure that it will be a movie to look out for. As for Vicky’s role in the movie, his character is inspired by the legendary warrior “Ashwatthama”, from Mahabharata. This is what brings the mythological touch to the films.
It still isn’t clear as to what role Sara has been assigned to but going by the film, we hope her role is as meaty and important as that of the lead hero in the movie. The fans for sure, don’t want any more of the “damsel in distress” kind of character in movies. She earlier was part of Simmba alongside Ranveer Kapoor, which too was high on action but as the tradition goes, her character only served her as the bubbly, next door girl who will support the hero in all his endeavours.
As stated by the makers, Sara has been undergoing vigarious training. Also, she has been signed up for martial arts, so that her character looks skilled enough for the screens. In this day and age, the female leads are capable of everything and anything. Giving the female leads an equally important action filled character has become way more important.
The movie is being directed by Aditya Dhar, who earlier directed Uri: The Surgical Strike. The movie is being produced by Ronnie Screwvala, who has gone on to say that the movie will most definitely be a visual experience for the fans along with everything else that is promised. The release dates for the movie haven’t been revealed as of now, the movie will soon start its shoot with the leading stars.
