Announced earlier this year in January and having wrapped shooting in May, Sara Ali Khan led ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’ is set to premiere exclusively on Amazon Prime Video very soon.

Amazon Prime Video today launched a new motion poster for ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’ that has a vintage vibe and Sara Ali Khan can be seen in a white saree with a dark border holding a mike ready to broadcast through a radio setup.

Inspired by true event, ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’ is a thriller drama about an unsung hero, a young woman, who played a very important role in Indian independence movement.

The film is Sara’s third direct-to-OTT release back to back after ‘Atrangi Re’ and ‘Gaslight’. Her other upcoming projects include ‘Metro… In Dino’, ‘Murder Mubarak’ and Jagan Shakti’s untitled project.

Directed by Kannan Iyer who has written the film alongside Darab Farooqui, ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’ stars Sara Ali Khan, Richard Bhakti Klein and Alexa O’Nell among others.

A Dharmatic Entertainment production, ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’ is produced by Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta. Somen Mishra serves as the co-producer for the film. ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’ will premiere soon only on Amazon Prime Video.
