‘Saripodhaa Sanivaaram’: Not Your Regular Good Vs Evil Action Flick

The trailer for Nani’s upcoming vigilante action film ‘Saripodhaa Sanivaaram’ is here and despite the same old good vs evil theme, this one looks pretty promising and has a sort of raw freshness to it. Helmed by Vivek Athreya,‘Saripodhaa Sanivaaram’ will release in cinemas on 29th August, 2024.

The trailer is very well cut, gripping you from start to finish. The action, drama and thrill is packed in every scene. While everyone else knows who the masked hero is, it’s the sadist villain who needs to solve the mystery.

The story follows CI Dayanand (SJ Suryah), a brutal cop who is depicted as pure evil and misuse his powers beyond its means. He has some sort of personal vengeance with people of Sokulapalem and doesn’t miss a chance to lash out at them. But this is until another cop Surya (Nani) enters into scene and becomes a masked messiah for those oppressed by the CI. The weird twist here is that Surya only hits people on Saturdays.

The trailer is visually riveting, displaying the amazing cinematography by Murali G and though the plot might not seem novel there is certain level of intrigue in it that keeps you wanting more. The lead stars make a great impression in the trailer and though Nani has limited dialogues in it, he makes it up with his prominent screen presence. Top it up with Jakes Bejoy gripping score, ‘Saripodhaa Sanivaaram’ becomes a perfect combination of what all a film needs to entertain.

‘Saripodhaa Sanivaaram’ is written and directed by Vivek Athreya, who is known for his films like ‘Mental Madhilo’, ‘Brochevarevurura’ and ‘Ante Sundaraniki’. The young filmmaker is credited to have given hits till now and this latest offering from him promises nothing less.

Starring Nani, SJ Suryah, Priyanka Arul Mohan, Adtit Balan, Sai Kumar, Abhirami, and Murali Sharma among others, ‘Saripodhaa Sanivaaram’ is produced by D. V. V. Danayya’s DVV Entertainment. ‘Saripodhaa Sanivaaram’ will release in theatres on 29th August, 2024. The post theatrical streaming rights for the film are with Netflix.
