The entire country including Bollywood is plundered by the rampage of Covid-19. Now, yet another movie’s release has been impacted due to the ongoing pandemic. Satyameva Jayate 2, one of this year’s most anticipated releases has now been postponed due to the increasing numbers of Covid-19 cases in the country.
Earlier today, the makers of the second installment of Satyameva Jayate have released an official statement saying they will not release Satyameva Jayate 2 on the scheduled date of 13th May 2021 concerning the safety and well-being of the people all around the country.
Satyameva Jayate 2 reportedly will feature John Abraham in a double role for the first time in his career alongside Divya Khosla Kumar, Rajeev Pillai and Anup Soni. The film will be directed by Milap Zaveri who has also directed the first installment and will be produced by T-Series.Though, the makers confirmed the postponement of the film but there was no indication of any release date in near future. Looks like John Abraham fans will have to wait for an indefinite time period to witness their action hero in full force.
It’s really sad to see how the big-budget films are getting delayed due to the pandemic and ultimately heading for OTT releases. We hope the same doesn’t happen with Satyameva Jayate 2 and fans can hopefully watch this upcoming action extravaganza on big screens once the pandemic is over.
