Netflix India has long ago announced its next big-scale espionage thriller with Pratik Gandhi as the lead. The series will be named ‘For Your Eyes Only’ and Pratik will be playing an intelligence officer in it. The show is written by Gaurav Shukla and Bhavesh Mandalia.
Sumit Purohit, famous for writing the masterpiece ‘Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story’ will be directing this thriller. There was a lot of speculation about who is going to direct this and finally Sumit is finalized. Tilottama Shome will be seen alongside Pratik in the show in a very important role. Not much about the rest of the cast is known yet.
Pratik Gandhi‘s ‘For Your Eyes Only’ will be the third production from the Bombay Fables Motion Pictures, a production house founded by Gaurav, Bhavesh and Sejal Shah, a group of writers working passionately. The house has produced ‘Decoupled’ and ‘Serious Men’ previously. This will be Pratik’s third Hindi web series too, with the big hit Scam 1992 and another series directed by Tigmangshu Dhulia coming soon.
Bombay Fables is a house that works on good content with dedication. The pursuit for a good director that went on for so long points to the fact that the series is going to be good. Sumit has worked as a writer, editor, director but this is going to be his first big-scale venture. And Bombay Fables has trusted him for obvious reasons. The show goes on floors next month in Budapest. Netflix India has chances of reviving its lost glory once more with ‘For Your Eyes Only’.
