Scorsese’s Jesus Movie To Probably Star Andrew Garfield & Miles Teller!

Last year in May Martin Scorsese had announced that he will soon be working on a movie on Jesus Christ and now he has confirmed that he is thinking about the project seriously. Reportedly, he is considering Andrew Garfield and Miles Teller for the movie.

Very recently the master director has announced that he has two projects lined up for back to back production. The first one will be the ambitious Christ movie, and the second one will be the Frank Sinatra biopic starring Leonardo Di Caprio and Jennifer Lawrence. It is not clear who will play the role of Christ in the movie. If Garfield and Teller both are approached, one might have another important role.

Scorsese’s faith in Christ and his artistic expression for the same is known to all. The director had previously said that he has always liked films like Pier Paolo Pasolini’s ‘The Gospel According to St. Matthew’ and has also been very much inspired by the gospels and teachings of the Bible. His 1988 film ‘The Last Temptation Of Christ’ was a huge hit and gathered a lot of controversies as well. The movie told the story of Christ in an imaginary way, derailed from the gospels, where it shows Christ succumbing to the temptations of Satan and then living a full life, only to discover it was all an illusion.

Scorsese’s vision at such an age is just awe-inspiring. Fans from all over the world wait for another masterpiece from the legend after the huge success of ‘Killers Of The Flower Moon’.
