Sam Raimi is roped in to direct and produce a new horror thriller. The movie is titled ‘Send Help’ and it will be distributed by Twentieth Century Studios.
Sam Raimi is indeed an icon in the genre of horror and he has impressed fans with the legendary ‘Evil Dead’ franchise. It will be good for the industry to have him back with a horror thriller. Sam Raimi’s genius has been proven many times before and he has achieved a legendary figure in the history of filmmaking because of directing the original Spiderman trilogy. His last directorial ‘Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness’ was a massive success at the box office and had changed the course Marvel was going to take to a huge amount. His other significant titles are movies like ‘Drag Me to Hell’ and ‘Oz the Great and Powerful’. Sam Raimi has a great fan base that eagerly waits for further details of the movie.
There is no information regarding this new movie but it is being described as something in between Robert Zemeckis’ film ‘Cast Away’ and the Stephen King story ‘Misery’. It will be an island horror thriller and there are more chances of it having a theatrical release than a OTT premiere.
