It’s common knowledge that Priyanka and Nick Jonas are producing a series for Amazon Prime Video, tentatively called ‘The Sangeet Project’, as of now. The series will showcase the joyous and colourful occasion of Sangeet, which is an integral part of every Indian wedding.
The couple has now gone ahead and posted a Tweet on their respective Twitter handles, where they’re inviting young couples that are planning for a spring or summer wedding this year, to send in their love stories to them. The best stories will obviously feature on the show, along with their smashing Sangeets.
Apparently, westerners, and of course Indians, are enamoured with the Indian ritual of song and dance, and Nick and Priyanka want to leverage the traditional song and dance ceremony of Sangeet to produce a cracker of a show.
Nick Jonas wrote on Twitter, “Priyanka and I want you to be a part of our exciting new series with @PrimeVideo. If you’re planning on getting married in the Spring or early Summer of 2020, we want to hear YOUR love story. Visit http://castingengagedcouples.com for more info!”
The video he posted along with the tweet has him talking about love, marriages and their inherent magic. Priyanka did not make a separate tweet but shared Nick’s tweet on her Twitter.
