The apparent deal will cover series that will focus both on her personal and professional lives. Under this particular deal, Williams will develop both unscripted and scripted projects at Amazon. The first will be an unscripted series, which will be a documentary based on her life. Producers for the projects have already joined the team, and they are Plum Pictures, Goalhanger Films along with Amazon Studios. The series will be executive produced by Williams, Patrick Mouratoglou, Stuart Cabb and Tony Pastor.

The 23-time Grand Slam Tennis champion has mentioned how excited she is to partner up with Amazon Studios. She believes that the content they develop are some of the best in the industry and are not only important but also inspiring for the global audience. She also has told the media that she is super thrilled to have signed the deal as she has a bunch of stories to tell the world and she believes this is the best way to do so.

This is not the first time Serena Williams will be working on her documentary. Earlier HBO released a documentary based on her life titled, “Serena” back in 2016. This will for sure be different as compared to her earlier documentary as she will personally be looking into details and will be telling some of her more untold stories.
