Zee5 has dropped the teaser for its upcoming latest original film ‘Forensic: The Truth Lies Within’ and it intrigues while sending chills down the spine. Helmed by Vishal Furia (‘Chhorii’), ‘Forensic: The Truth Lies Within’ will premiere only on Zee5 on 24th June, 2022.
The teaser begins with an eerie feel where police officer Megha Sharma (Radhika Apte) is seen rushing to a crime scene while rain pours. Megha is shook when she sees a young girl’s dead body who is wearing a birthday cap.
Then enters into scene forensic expert Johnny Khanna (Vikrant Massey) dressed in white overalls and who examines the evidences closely for clues. Both on site and in the lab he goes through every detail that could otherwise be missed by the naked eye.
On the other hand the killings doesn’t stop, two more little girls disappear on their birthdays and their bodies are found soon after in Mussoorie. Someone out there is committing such heinous crimes and Megha and Johnny together are looking for this ruthless serial killer. Will they be able to find him/her?
‘Forensic’ is the Hindi remake of the eponymous Malayalam film starring Tovino Thomas and Mamta Mohandas. Vikrant Massey plays the role of a forensic expert and Radhika Apte will be seen as a leading officer in the crime thriller film ‘Forensic’.
Produced by Deepak Mukut, Mansi Bagla and Varun Bagla and co-produced by Hunur Mukut, ‘Forensic’ has skipped theatrical release and is now headed for a digital release on Zee5.
Other than Vikrant Massey and Radhika Apte, ‘Forensic’ also stars Prachi Desai, and Rohit Roy in prominent roles. The production companies behind the Zee5 original film are Soham Rockstar Entertainment Pvt. Ltd and Mini Films.
‘Forensic: The Truth Lies Within’ will premiere exclusively on Zee5 on 24th June, 2022.
