Jeffrey Dahmer is a name that is enough to terrify everyone who is aware of his existence. He was a serial killer who would bring male escorts to his apartment and then ultimately kill them with extreme brutality.
There have been instances when his neighbors heard suspicious sounds coming from his apartment but they couldn’t do anything as Police would not even try to intervene. As most of his victims were Black, social prejudices and racism played a big role in protecting Jeffrey Dahmer for a long time.
But, Netflix is playing big in the name of the notorious serial killer.
If you are unaware, Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story is now streaming on Netflix. It is gaining good reviews except for the length of the show. Evan Peters plays the role of Jeffrey Dahmer and he nailed his role to perfection.
Seeing the performance, many users predicted that he is certainly going to get nominated for Emmys. We’ll see if those prophecies see the light of day.
Regardless, this is not all as Netflix is also bringing a documentary on Jeffrey Dahmer. Conversations With A Killer: The Jeffrey Dahmer Tapes is coming to Netflix on 7th October.
Needless to say, Netflix is the absolute master of making crime documentaries. There are high expectations for the show and we will tell you how it comes out to be.
But, this is more than their obsession. In fact, there are other stories too on which Netflix has both series and documentaries. For instance, Thai Cave Rescue as a series is streaming but a documentary on the same will be streaming from 5th October. “The Trapped 13: How We Survived The Thai Cave” is the name of the documentary.
Let’s see if Jeffrey Dahmer indeed helps Netflix win it big at the Emmys.
