The official trailer for ‘Shabash Feluda’ has been released and it is directed by Arindam Sil, one of the best filmmakers of the industry. It will be a web series and it will be premiering on the 5th of May this year.
Shabash Feluda is a Zee5 original and has Parambrata Chattopadhyay as the lead. Parambrata Chattopadhyay is undoubtedly one of the best Bengali actors out there right now, but audiences have some prejudices regarding him in the role. He has previously played Topshe, the cousin and assistant to the the famous detective in several movies earlier but many do not believe that he can do justice to the role. Currently another actor Dev too is being trolled for trying to do a Byomkesh movie. Feluda and Byomkesh are definitely two most churned characters in Bengali.
Apart from Parambrata, Rwitobroto Mukherjee plays Topshe and Ritwick Chakroborty plays an important role. Shabash Feluda will be following the story of ‘Gangtoke Gondogol’ where Feluda investigates the sudden death of the business partner of Mr.Bose, a Perfume merchant, who employs Feluda.
The teaser really looks good and it is definitely well shot. The story is modernized to fit our times and the visuals are good enough to impress you. Arindam Sil, the director has previously directed films like Ear Shabor, Mahananda, Tirandaj Shabor or Byomkesh Gotro. Hopefully he will not mess Feluda up and it will prove to be quite a successful venture. Shabash Feluda will be coming out on 5th May on Zee5 only.
