The 2022 Malayalam language feel good dramedy ‘Shafeekkinte Santhosham‘ released at the theatres to positive reception yesterday. The film apparently has hit the right chords with the family audience and if everything goes right, Shafeekkinte Santhosham could become another Jan-e-man (2022) or Home (2021) this year. Binged has learnt about the streaming rights of the film. The digital rights of Shafeekkinte Santhosham are with Simply South.
The film follows Shafeek’s life. A non-resident Indian, Shafeek is loved by everyone in his home-town Paarathodu. Whilst he visits his home from Dubai for a short duration during his wedding with his childhood sweetheart, he gets into a set of troubles that expose the truths of his near and dear ones.
Written and directed by Anup Pandalam, Shafeekkinte Santhosham stars Unni Mukundan, Sminu Sijo, Divya Pillai and Athmeeya Rajan in the lead roles. Although the exact streaming date of the film is not known yet, as per the 28 day streaming window, the film is expected to land on Simply South on or before the last week of December.
