Shah Rukh Khan will be taking up Atlee’s project after finishing his schedule for Pathan. Atlee’s project is set to go on floors in August but nothing can be confirmed due to the unpredictability of the Covid situation. Atlee has provided us with some mass entertainers in the South Indian industry. His films like Bigil and Theri have wooed audiences and met with resounding success.
According to sources, SRK will be playing a double role in the film which is said to be a high-octane action thriller. He will play the role of an intelligence officer for a top organisation as well as a most wanted criminal. While Shah Rukh Khan is used to playing double roles (‘FAN’ was his latest project with a double role) Atlee is also known to have projects where actors are playing double and even triple roles. It is believed that Atlee and his team were flown down to Mumbai by Shah Rukh Khan and they will scout for locations to shoot their project.
Even though things are at a very early stage with this project you can feel that the audience is pumped for this collaboration and something really cool is on the cards. It was said that Shah Rukh Khan would be doing a film with south filmmakers Raj and DK but at the moment it seems like that is highly unlikely to happen.
