It seems like, after the blockbuster success of Kabir Singh, Shahid Kapoor has done a serious thinking for his upcoming projects. While earlier he used to choose projects in a jiffy, post Kabir Singh, he has subdued his choices and is picking the projects carefully. While he still is in the safe zone for his upcoming which is the official remake of Telugu film Jersey.
Shahid Kapoor has signed several projects and in the latest development it seems that he has signed a web series which will be directed by the hit duo of Raj and DK for Amazon Prime Video. Those of you who aren’t familiar with their work yet, well.. Raj and DK are known for The Family Man on Amazon Prime and the zombie comedy Go Goa Gone.
Shahid on the other hand already has several projects under his kitty. Reportedly he has given nod for a Dharma Productions film which will be directed by Shashank Khaitan titled Yoddha and earlier he was speculated to be in talks with Netflix for a multi project deal. Seeing his busy schedule, we might see a lot of Shahid in the coming years.
Talking about the new and yet untitled series, it is being said that the series is going to be a two season deal and will be a quirky action thriller with the regular humour of Raj and DK. While the director duo are currently working on The Family Man Season 2 which will be out in the month of December, only after that, the project with Shahid will be commencing. While the directors have started working for the new show, they will fully dive into it after the release of The Family Man Season 2.
Seeing the current scenario, the show in all probablities will be going on floors after February 2021.
