After almost a whole year of being dominated by movies from the South, Bollywood films have made a welcome comeback in the list of most-awaited films in Indian cinema. For the first time in a long time, 4 films in the top ten buzziest films are from Bollywood. The buzziest film this month is also a Bollywood film. Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu films also make their presence felt in the top ten most-anticipated films of the rest of 2022.
Surprising omissions in the Top Ten Buzziest films are Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha (15.1 K Interests) and Akshay Kumar’s Raksha Bandhan (8.1 K Interests). Ponniyin Selvan 1 (11.7 K Interests) is another film that shockingly couldn’t make the list.
It is to be noted that we’ve included only Indian movies in this list of Top 10 movies. Or else, Hollywood would have dominated the list, kicking out popular Indian films. Black Adam has 35.4 K Interests, while Avatar: The Way Of Water has 53 K interests.
We’ve also included only the films releasing in 2022. Therefore, ‘Fighter’, ‘Pathaan’, ‘Varisu’ and other buzzy films of 2023 are out of this list. Same goes for films that haven’t completed shoot yet. Mammootty’s Bilal has 128 K interests when the film hasn’t even gone on the floors yet. So, it’s out of this list!
