The release date of the much-awaited Shamshera is now out. This Ranbir Kapoor starrer film was extremely anticipated just after his Magnum Opus Brahmastra.
Unlike Brahmastra, this big-budget film is produced under the banner of Yash Raj Films. Interestingly the direction is helmed by Karan Malhotra who gave us the iconic remake of Agneepath in 2012.
Alongside Ranbir, the film stars Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt. Needless to say, the cast and crew is well-known for brilliant performances and so is expected from them.
Currently, Yash Raj Films is celebrating 50 years of being in the entertainment industry and they have given a lot of super-iconic films without which, imagining Bollywood is difficult.
Yesterday itself, Yash Raj Films announced the release date of Akshay Kumar starrer Prithviraj which will release on 10th June.
Today, the big production house officially confirmed that Shamshera will hit the theatres on 22nd July.
With a small teaser, we can clearly guess that the movie is about a rebel who not only believes in absolute freedom but also acts for it.
The punchline of the film says “Karam Se Dacait Dharam Se Azad”. It means that he may act as a dacoit but his Dharma is only freedom.
The teaser is presented in a way that it gives a sort of larger than life status to the character.
But it everything depends on the film that will release on 22nd July in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
