While Ranbir Kapoor has recently been busy promoting his film ‘Brahmastra’ there’s one other upcoming film of his ‘Shamshera’ that seems to have been ignored for quite a while now. This is when ‘Shamshera’ is set to release next month whereas ‘Brahmastra’ is scheduled for September.
But randomly today Shamshera’s poster seems to have leaked on Twitter and the hashtag #ShamsheraPosterLeaked has since been trending. This poster doing rounds on the internet features Ranbir, who plays a dacoit’s role in the film, in a tough rugged look with shoulder length hair and long beard and his hand resting on an axe.

The poster has increased the hype for ‘Shamshera’ among the netizens who have been wooed with Ranbir’s intense avatar. The expectations from the Yash Raj banner film are now higher than ever.

Directed by Karan Malhotra and written by Jaideep Sahni, ‘Shamshera’ is a period action drama film set in pre-independent India of 1800s and tells the story of a dacoit tribe and their fight for independence during the British rule.
‘Shamshera’ stars Ranbir Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor in lead roles. The film is produced by Aditya Chopra under his Yash Raj Films banner. ‘Shamshera’ is set to release in cinemas on 22nd July, 2022.
