All the 2020 theatre releases had been shifted to 2021 or 2022. These films have a huge responsibility of bringing viewers back to the theatres after the gap of almost one year. Now, another Bollywood film ‘Fauji Calling’ joins the bandwagon of March 2021 theatrical release.
‘Fauji Calling’ stars Sharman Joshi in the lead role. Joining him will be Ranjha Vikram Singh, Bidita Bag, Mugdha Godse, Zarina Wahab, and Mahi Soni. Aaryaan Saxena acts as the writer and director. This story is written on the grounds of the after-effects of 2019 Pulwama attack and will narrate the moving reality of a soldier’s life and the struggles of a soldier’s family when they lose their loved one in a battle. This film will also show how a little girl tries to come to terms with her father’s demise and her challenges against post traumatic stress disorder.
This film will be a roller coaster ride filled with sufferings, sacrifice, tears, and trauma and will definitely not be a light-hearted watch. ‘Fauji Calling’ produced by Vikram Singh and Ovez Shaikh, under the banner of Running Horses Films and Ovez Productions, releases in the theatres on 12th March 2021. It’s trailer was released earlier in January by our defence minister Rajnath Singh.
