A few days back, Netflix released the teaser of She Season 2. The Imtiaz Ali created series is one of the biggest ventures of Netflix India and after a moderately successful season 1, it’s coming back.
The series will start streaming on June 17, with less than 10 days remaining for the show.
The series revolves around a financially poor girl Bhoomika who is trapped in an abusive relationship. She somehow gets into Anti Narcotics agency where she plays a sex worker to expose a drug mafia.
Nayak, the drug lord wants to make Mumbai the drug capital of India. But Bhoomika penetrates his regime and seduces him. As they get closer, Bhoomika realises the danger which is lurking around her life.
She also finds herself in a position where she can change for good. Amidst all that dilemma she has to complete the last task of her operation which is also the deadliest.
Will Bhoomika be able to handle the task? For that, we have to wait till 17th.
Regardless, the series is directed by Arif Ali.
The series stars Aaditi Pohankar playing the titular character. It also has Kishore Kumar G, Vishwas Kini, Shivani Rangole, Sam Mohan, Suhita Thatte, Saqib Ayub and Sandeep Dhabale in supporting roles.
