After receiving critical acclaim for ‘Three Of Us’, Shefali Shah and Jaideep Ahlawat are reuniting for ‘Hisaab’, a film by renowned director and producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah (‘Aankhen’, ‘Waqt: The Race Against Time’, ‘Namaste London’).
‘Hisaab’ has now commenced filming and the announcement was made today on social media with a picture of the clap of the movie and a temple in the background. The film is described as a journey of bringing emotions to life and passion to the screen.
In addition to Shefali Shah and Jaideep Ahlawat, ‘Hisaab’ also stars Abhishek Banerjee, Srishti Shrivastava, Rohitashv Gour, and Gopal Dutt in prominent roles.
Vipul Amrutlal Shah is coming back to the director’s chair after six years. His last directorial was ‘Namaste England’ starring Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra. But the filmmaker has been in the scene recently for producing films like ‘The Kerala Story’ and ‘Bastar: The Naxal Story’ both helmed by Sudipto Sen and starring Adah Sharma in the lead.
Shah is also producing ‘Hisaab’ through his Sunshine Pictures Private Limited in association with Jyoti Deshpande for Jio Studios. Imre Juhász will handle the cinematography for the film.
‘Hisaab’ was announced last year as part of Sunshine Pictures upcoming lineup that also included ‘Samuk’ and ‘Governor’. While the former is helmed by ‘Sanak’ filmmaker Kanishk Varma, the latter will be directed by Apoorva Singh Karki known for his latest film ‘Sirf Ek Banda Kaafi Hai’ starring Manoj Bajpayee.
