“Shershaah” is the talk of the town at the moment. With a glorious purpose and glorious story in hand, the makers have created this beautiful movie to celebrate the life of “Shershaah”, India’s courageous son, Captain Vikram Batra. The movie is definitely a story that everyone’s looking out for right now. But, before that, the makers are keeping the audience hooked with interesting posters and even more interesting, beautiful and heartfelt songs.
Talking about songs, the makers of “Shershaah” today released another soulful song titled “Ranjha”. The song as expected is an absolute love song that centers around Sidharth Malhotra’s character Captain Vikram Batra and Kiara Advani’s character Dimple Cheema. The song starts with them going to the Gurudwara and offering their prayers. While they take their rounds, Vikram Batra could be seen holding the end of Dimple Cheema’s scarf slightly. This most of the time is done in Punjabi weddings.
The song describes what happens when you meet the love of your life, how you prepare yourselves to bid them goodbye, as they get ready to do one of the most important jobs. The job of protecting the motherland. The song shows how Captain Vikram Batra and Dimple Cheema spend their last moments together alone, secluded, and completely in love with each other before Vikram Batra moves to his postings and gets on with his duty as a soldier.
The song ends with Sidharth Malhotra arriving at his base, determined and on the other hand, Kiara Advani has a sad look on her face, as she returns to college, this time though without her beau. The song has been beautifully sung by B Praak and Jasleen Royal, while Anvita Dutt is the one who perfectly penned the song that tells how two lovers would feel when they get separated as one gets ready to serve the nation. The composer of the song is Jasleen Royal herself and the song has been arranged and produced by Akshay Raheja.
The movie is set to release on Amazon Prime Video on the 12th of August and fans cannot keep calm to witness this beautiful yet painful story unfold. This definitely looks to be like one such movie that will stay in people’s minds for a long time.
