Love is a strong word and a strong feeling too. Something that can literally make anyone do anything, but one needs to have the passion and desperation for that love. So is the case for Disney+ Hotstar’s new movie “Shiddat”. A movie that will take everyone on a maddening ride through the various phases of loving someone and being loved by someone. The trailer for the upcoming movie “Shiddat” has now dropped and it oozes the passion a lover has when it has fallen completely in love with someone.
Going with the trailer, we see Kartika, played by Radhika Madan, and Jaggi, played by Sunny Kaushal as they dance around, fall in love and madness, as they move through various, beautiful European clubs and streets. Kartika, who is already engaged to someone else, love is not always the answer to everything and marriage needs more than love. But this isn’t the same for Jaggi, who has just simply given his heart away to Kartika and will do anything and everything to get her back, even if it means persuading her till the last moment.
In between this entire mind-blowing ride, we hear the beautiful words that describe love from none other than Mohit Raina, who steals everyone’s heart as he dressed in his finest attire for his marriage. He is marrying the beautiful Diana Penty, who is decked up brilliantly in her bridal attire. As the trailer for “Shiddat”, proceeds, Mohit Raina looks like someone who is close to Jaggi and guides him and tries to knock some sense into him, as Kartika gets ready to marry her fiancé. While Jaggi believes, they are made for each other; will this be the case for Kartika too? Will she finally believe in the power of love? Or will it be all about heartbreak in “Shiddat”
Directed by Kunal Deshmukh, Shiddat will be an absolute tale of love between star-crossed lovers and nothing more. But, besides love, it will showcase the agony, the desperation, the pain in loving someone and being loved by someone. The movie stars Radhika Madan, Sunny Kaushal as the lead pair, along with Mohit Raina and Diana Penty. Shiddat is produced by Dinesh Vijan and Bhushan Kumar; it is presented by Gulshan Kumar and Prem Vijan and is a Maddock Original Film. The movie is all set to release on the 1st of October, 2021 on Disney+ Hotstar.
