Shilpa Shetty Kundra began working on her upcoming film ‘Sukhee’ last year and the film has finally got a release date now. Helmed by Sonal Joshi, ‘Sukhee’ is a fun filled comedy drama set to release in theatres next month.
In the latest poster launched today for ‘Sukhee’ Shilpa Shetty’s excitedly smiling face appears in the centre with a background of a collage that features other characters from the film.
‘Sukhee’ is a tale of comedy, masti and Sukh(ee) starring Shilpa Shetty in the lead who will play the role of a “Bedhadak, Besharam, Beparvah” woman. In addition to Shilpa Shetty, the film also stars Amit Sadh, Kusha Kapila, Dilnaz Irani, Pavleen Gujral and Chaitanya Choudhary among others.
‘Sukhee’ marks the fourth collaboration after Vidya Balan’s Sherni and Jalsa and Nushrat Bharucha’s ‘Chhorii’ between T-Series and Abundantia Entertainment. The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Vikram Malhotra and Shikhaa Sharma.
Other than ‘Sukhee’ Shilpa Shetty’s upcoming works include Kannada action drama ‘KD – The Devil’ and Rohit Shetty’s Amazon Prime Video series ‘Indian Police Force’ that marks her web debut.
‘Sukhee’ will release in cinemas on 22nd September, 2023. Post theatrical digital rights for ‘Sukhee’ have been acquired by Netflix while the satellite rights for the same are with Sony Max.
