The Kannada action thriller ‘Ghost’ is soon going to be available on OTT. The Shiva Rajkumar starrer will stream on Zee5 from the 17th of November.
‘Ghost’ is directed by filmmaker M. G. Srinivas. The movie had its story written by the director himself and the dialogues are written by Prasanna V. Maasti.
The movie tells the story of an anonymous man who attacks the central jail of Karnataka and holds the prisoners and a senior police officer as hostages. Soon another officer is deployed to look into the matter and resolve it. It is soon known that the man who has held them hostage is a criminal named Dalavayi who goes by the title ‘Big Daddy’.
The officer who is held captive is a dishonest one and he wants a huge amount of gold that he recovered in a CBI raid all by himself. He even murdered a junior officer who threatened to complain of him. Dalavayi had known all this and now he wants that gold. After some time, the investigating officer finds out that the one posing as Dalavayi might not be him after all, as it wss reported that he had died in an accident.
The movie is quite good for a one time watch. If you are fond of heist thrillers and hostage dramas, you might like it. Apart from Shiva Rajkumar, there are other actors in the movie like Jayaram, Anupam Kher, Prashanth Narayanan, Archana Jois etc in other important roles.
The music is given by Arjun Janya and the cinematography is handled by Mahendra Simha.
