The latest, season 4 aired on 3rd April, 2020. Show creator Alex Pina confirmed a fifth season. Sadly, the upcoming season might be its last. In a recent video uploaded by Netflix Spain, the cast revealed what all of them were excited about the fifth season.
‘Alvaro Morte’ spoke about meeting the co-stars again and ‘Najwa Nimri’ was excited about all the action. However, Lisbon star ‘Itziar Ituño’ “It is known how the story ends.”
While Spanish site Marca reported a renewal for season five and six, neither is nothing confirmed of this nor has Alex revealed the future plans for the show.
Writer Javier Gómez Santander said that they plan out the show as each chapter, game and sequence comes by.
Given that Netflix and fans would want more of the action thriller brilliance of the show, we will just have to wait on it.
